MSK empowers young women through school wide projects and district events. MSK collaborate to learn leadership skills, engage in community service while learning to improve their relationships, communication and public speaking skills.

MBK Mission is to cultivate a brotherhood in and across our district community that will help engage, empower, elevate, and enlighten our boys and young men of color in order to actively address disparities in the achievement and opportunity gaps of boys and young men of color and ensure their social-emotional and academic success.

STUDENT COUNCIL

The Student Council gives students a voice to make changes within their school community. We will work together to develop leadership skills, build relationships with the staff and students within the school, and develop school wide initiatives to build a school atmosphere based on what the students want.

TITLE 3 Afterschool

Title III Afterschool programming to support students’ academic growth and language development. This program offers additional instruction and enrichment opportunities that strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, while helping students build confidence and succeed academically in a supportive afterschool environment.

UAU

UAU programming to support students’ academic growth and social-emotional development. This program offers structured activities, academic support, and enrichment opportunities that promote positive behavior, engagement, and overall student success in a safe and supportive environment.

Test Prep Afterschool

Test Prep Afterschool offers targeted academic support to help students strengthen core subject skills and prepare for assessments. The program focuses on building confidence, improving test-taking strategies, and reinforcing key concepts in a structured and supportive afterschool environment.

YEAR BOOK club

Yearbook will allow the 5th grade students to take ownership of their own yearbook. They will be in charge of taking pictures of their peers and school wide events, planning the book from front cover to back cover, collecting photos and organizing them. They will be setting up the schedule to meet the deadlines.

Soccer club

Soccer Club provides students with the opportunity to develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness through organized practices and games. The program promotes healthy habits, skill development, and positive social interaction in a fun and supportive environment.

Stream Club

STREAM Club engages students in hands-on learning experiences that integrate science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The program encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration while fostering curiosity and problem-solving skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Lunch bunch (SEL)

Lunch Bunch (SEL) is a fun and friendly time where students can eat lunch together, talk, and make new friends. Through games and conversations, students learn how to share their feelings, listen to others, and build positive friendships in a safe and caring space.

Music for many

Music for Many gives students the chance to explore music in a fun and creative way. Students can sing, play instruments, and learn about rhythm and sound while working together and expressing themselves in a positive and enjoyable environment.

Arts connection (performances)

Arts Connection (Performances) gives students the chance to enjoy live performances and explore the arts in exciting ways. Through music, dance, and theater experiences, students can be inspired, use their imagination, and learn more about creativity while having fun together.
